This was one of my best culinary experiences! It's as simple as that. The food was truly outstanding and the care and attention from the hosts brings the whole experience up another level. Descriptions of the ingredients, the history of the region... Like a visit to Buda Castle, this should be something that all visitors to Budapest tick off the list.

Our experience at Zincenco Kitchen was just sublime while on our trip to Budapest. Having seen the rave reviews online, our expectations were high and safe to say, it blew us out the water. The restaurant itself is in an unassuming block of apartments and you buzz in as if you’re going over a friends house. It really feels like a home from home, holding under 10 tables with an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs cook at the front. Honestly can’t recommend enough for a very special meal out consisting of multiple courses. The quality and presentation is sublime, and as someone who works as a journalist and regularly reviews restaurants, I can easily say this is up there as one of the best I’ve ever eaten. I’ll remember this meal for the rest of my life.

We’ve had the pleasure of dining at Zincenco twice, and it’s truly a unique experience. The private, intimate atmosphere of this apartment restaurant makes it feel so special, and the food is outstanding—beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The service is always warm and attentive. I have to add I’ve tried the non alcoholic version of pairing for the food and even though I love wine I was amazed how creative and delicious were all the juices too. Great for people who don’t drink. We can’t wait to come back again.
